Cupidon, Soulsync's assistant, picks your four profiles of the day from what you've expressed: your deep values, your attachment style, your relationship intentions and your red lines — never your looks or popularity alone. Here, with no jargon or magic promise, is how it really works.
What is the selection based on?
Cupidon doesn't rank people by photo or by number of likes. It relies on your answers to the deeper questions, your relational functioning and your values. Research is clear on one point: similarity of values predicts the duration of a relationship better than complementarity of character.
Why four profiles, and not forty?
We could show you dozens of profiles. We chose to offer only four. This number isn't arbitrary: it's wide enough to offer a real choice, narrow enough that you can truly look at each person. Quality of attention is our primary material.
A good dating algorithm doesn't guess who you'll love. It puts you in the presence of people with whom it's possible, then steps aside.
What Cupidon never does
- It doesn't sell your attention to advertisers: there are no ads.
- It doesn't resell any data. Hosting is European.
- It doesn't read your private conversations with your matches.
- It doesn't try to keep you: our success is you leaving as a couple.
Transparency is part of the product. You have the right to know how we introduce you to someone.
